Corporation has invested heavily in ensuring the Wilkins range of products
are the most compact, low cost and reliable valve range available. Wilkins
Backflow Preventers have long differentiated themselves from the competitors
as being designed with the backflow tester in mind. They are the simplest
to service and have a very complete low cost service parts range. Deeco
have represented Zurn Wilkins to the NZ market having pioneered the introduction
of backflow preventers in the late 1970's. With IQP's and ABT certified
staff in both backflow testing and cross-connection control servicing Deeco
has established itself on the NZ market as an authority on the hazard level
identification, device application, supply 0800 field call centre support
for installation, testing and maintenance support. Deeco's personnel
and products comply with NZ Standards (NZS2845) and the NZWWA Backflow Code
of Practice.
Wilkins pressure regulator range is a world leader with many millions of units in service dating back more than 50 years. The extensive range covers all pressure regulation applications of both potable water supply as well as rural water supply. Deeco have worked with Wilkins to modify the American product to suit New Zealand's very difference standards and plumbing codes. While the Zurn product is well proven and respected in the World the industry practices are considerably different from our local requirements. This has lead to some product developments now carrying both the Wilkins and Deeco name on them as evidence of our close working relationship.
