BIC1500 LEDs and Sound description

The BIC1500 displays the Battery, Modem, and Wi-Fi statuses by special sound and LEDs behavior. This document describes the Sound and leds behavior during the BIC1500 work process.

Boot loader

In order to upgrade the BIC1500 firmware version, change the unit mode to Loader mode. Press and hold the BOOT button then press the RESET button for a short time and leave the BOOT and RESET buttons.

In LOADER MODE, the BATTERY led will turn on and the STATUS led blinks fast. If there is no activity (No serial communication) the unit stays in Loader mode for 60 seconds. After 60 seconds it returns to regular mode.

BATTERY Led:

Charging Mode: During charging mode, the BATTERY led turns on and blinks every second.

No charge mode: When there is no charger, the BATTERY led turns off and blinks two times per second.

Low Battery mode: When low battery voltage has been detected (Less than 11.2 volts) the BATTERY led turns off and blinks three times.

Dead battery mode: When Dead Battery voltage has been detected (Less than 10.5 volts), the POWER led turns off and blinks every second.

MODEM Led: During the initialization, when the BIC1500 tries to connect to the server. When the BIC1500 try to connect to the server, the MODEM led blinks. After connecting to the server, the MODEM led turns on. If there is connection to the server, the four leds on the modem also turns on.

Wi-Fi Led:

In order to Start Wi-Fi communication, press the Wake-Up button. When the BIC1500 creates a local Wi-Fi connection, the Wi-Fi led blinks every second.
