DREAM2 is Talgil’s flagship irrigation controller for medium to large farms, irrigation schemes, and complex multi-block environments. It combines smart control of irrigation, fertigation, filtration, and environmental sensing into one powerful, cloud-connected platform.

Features and Benefits
The DREAM2 can run several irrigation programs at the same time, allowing you to manage multiple pumping systems and properties from a single cloud-based controller.
It’s designed for large farms with multiple blocks currently managed by separate controllers, helping to standardise and simplify irrigation operations.

I/O Options Overview
Local I/O (AC or DC)
The system can connect directly to 1 or 2 I/O boards, each with 16 outputs and 8 digital inputs—ideal for controlling nearby devices.
Remote I/O Expansion
Remote I/O units come in the same configuration (up to 32 outputs and 16 inputs) and are housed in an enclosure. Multiple units can operate together for broader coverage.
RF (Radio) Communication
When cabling isn’t practical, radio-based RTUs are used. An RF Master unit communicates with up to 999 RTUs, each able to read digital/analog inputs and activate DC latching outputs. A single RF channel can handle up to 60 RTUs.
Local Analog Inputs
Analog sensors near the controller can be connected via:
- Compact interface (2–4 inputs)
- Modular interface (up to 64 inputs, in groups of 8)
Analog inputs can also be read through the RF system.
pH/EC (Fertmaster) Interface
This interface handles pH and EC monitoring, up to 6 fertiliser injectors, and a booster pump. It has its own display and keyboard for setup and monitoring. It works in sync with the DREAM2 controller during injection processes.
THD Interface
Measures Temperature, Humidity, and Dew Point, ideal for frost protection or cooling programs. Defined in the system as a THD-type analog input.
Weather Station Interface
Connects the system to a Davis Vantage Pro2 weather station for full environmental monitoring.
